The first required interval – Service A – covers a handful of much-needed repairs, and tunes up your vehicle in preparation for Service B repairs. To provide your vehicle with complete care, Service A works in tandem with Service B in what’s known as the Flexible Service System (FSS). Initially, Service A is generally required at 10,000 miles, or after 1 year or ownership – whichever comes first. Throughout your vehicle’s lifespan, you’ll receive Service A reminders via the Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System about a month before the interval is complete.
