The 2025 Mercedes‑Benz GLS introduces a host of new updates. A number of design, technology and equipment changes take the comfort, connectivity and performance of the full-size SUV model series to new heights.
The SUV exterior boasts a more striking radiator grille with a Silver Shadow finish, a prominent front bumper with integrated air inlet grilles, and redesigned LED taillights at the rear. The interior of the Mercedes‑Benz GLS features seating configurations for six or seven occupants with two new leather upholstery options and a range of interior trim finishes. MANUFAKTUR Piano Lacquer Flowing Lines, previously reserved for the Mercedes‑Maybach GLS 600, is now also available for the GLS family from Mercedes‑Benz. In addition, the latest generation MBUX infotainment system offers a new look for the displays, with customizable styles and color schemes.
The “Off-Road Mode” in the MBUX system enhances the driving experience by displaying special information like gradient, lateral inclination, compass, and steering angle visually. The Surround View system with a 360-degree camera provides a “transparent hood” function, allowing the driver to see obstacles under the vehicle when in Off-Road mode. The Off-Road Engineering Package, available for the GLS 580 4MATIC®, increases ground clearance by 1.2 inches and includes an underride guard. The GLS also offers a high towing capacity of up to 7,716 lbs and features helpful towing assistance features such as Trailer Maneuvering Assist and an updated Trailer menu in the central display.
