What to Expect From Service A Repairs
At Mercedes-Benz of Chicago, we offer the full scope of Service A repairs for early (MY09 – MY14)* and late (MY15 or newer)** Mercedes-Benz vehicles. These repairs work alongside Service B repairs to ensure that your vehicle remains in optimal condition. Here’s what each Service A repair entails:
- Oil and Filter Replacement – Oil and filter replacement^ is essential to keep your engine’s parts lubricated and running smoothly. When performing an oil and filter replacement, our technicians only use Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil.
- Tire Inflation Check and Correction – By inspecting the tire pressure on your Mercedes-Benz, we can make sure that your tires are giving you the very best fuel economy, and are equipped with the pressure needed to handle challenging road conditions. Our service center also carries Mercedes-Benz authorized tires that you can purchase if a tire replacement is necessary.
- Brake Component Inspection – During the inspection of your brake system, our technicians thoroughly investigate its discs, brake pads, brake lines, and other components. We can diagnosis and resolve any issues, and make sure that one of your vehicle’s most important safety features is functioning properly.
- Maintenance Counter Reset – At the end of the Service A repair process, our technicians will reset your Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System, so that you know when it’s time for your next Service A or Service B maintenance interval.
