MBUX display on Mercedes-Benz gauge cluster

Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz first presented MBUX, a new in-car voice-activated assistant and infotainment system. MBUX, short for Mercedes-Benz User Experience, is included on the 2021 Mercedes-Benz A-Class, as well as the 2020 GLE and 2019 Sprinter Cargo Van. This new high-tech feature helps to create a more enjoyable and hassle-free driving experience. Learn more about MBUX from Mercedes-Benz of Chicago below.

Intelligent Voice-Powered Feature

When you press a button on the steering wheel or say, “Hey, Mercedes-Benz,” MBUX’s voice-activated feature turns on. MBUX is an intelligent feature, so you can speak naturally to the system. Asking “Hey, Mercedes-Benz, will the weather be warm enough for shorts next week?” will prompt MBUX to answer back with the predicted weather and temperature.

Artificial Intelligence Gives MBUX the Ability to Learn

MBUX can learn your preferences from your profile and behavioral patterns. This results in MBUX offering suggestions regarding new destinations, preferred comfort settings, and music. What’s more, MBUX puts the features you frequently use, such as the weather, navigation route to your home, and your favorite radio station, on the main menu for easy access.
