You will need to 1) Download the Mercedes me connect App on your mobile device and 2) Create an account for the Mercedes me connect app.
When you arrive at an Electrify America charging station, park, turn off your vehicle, and exit your vehicle.
Remove the charging cable from the charging station and plug the charging cable into the socket of your Mercedes-EQ. You will hear a mechanical click and the click confirms the cable is in correctly.
Take out your mobile device and open your Mercedes me connect app.
When the Mercedes me connectapp is open, click on the Navigation icon. The icon is located in the lower right hand corner of the Mercedes me connect application. It is the third and final icon in the row of three icons.
The navigation icon will open a map displaying your current location.
Select the charging station your Mercedes-EQB is parked at.
Confirm the charger ID on the app screen with the charger ID on the physical charger.
Select the “Charge” button to authenticate.
The charging session will now begin.
