Igniting His Passion for the Automotive Industry

Noel has been a Mercedes-Benz of Chicago Service Team Member for the past five and a half years, but his passion for the automotive industry sparked long before this. He shares, “During summers, I would spend time with my cousin, who was always working on cars, and this is what got me interested.”

Achieving Master Status

As a ten year old, Noel was just scratching the surface of his dream of working with cars; now, he has achieved Master Status (and in such a short time frame)! He excitedly shares, “It is such a great achievement since I am one of only twenty-five to receive it.”

What is Master Status? To become a Mercedes-Benz Master Technician requires an extraordinary amount of hard work and commitment to the craft as a Technician and to training. To achieve this impressive status requires about 372 hours of time dedicated to understanding Mercedes-Benz Technology and advancing skill sets, through a combination of both eLearnings and Instructor Led Training. This does not account for the additional countless hours spent preparing and studying for each course and exam to ensure a successful outcome.

Outside of Work

When Noel is not with his Fletcher Jones family, he is spending time with his own family! He also enjoys fishing, working on his own project car or grabbing a meal at Outback Steakhouse.
