2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB Performance

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB Engine

The Engine & The Transmission & The Tires

The 2020 GLB is compact, but it has power. With a 2.0 Liter Inline-4 Turbo Engine, the driver can experience up to 221 Horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The driver handles all this power with quicker and smoother shifting that is offered by the 8 Speed Dual Clutch Transmission and this transmission helps keep fuel from running out too quickly. The 2020 GLB has 18” wheels with All-Season MOE as well.

DYNAMIC SELECT®

What else can you do as the driver? The DYNAMIC SELECT means you can transition between the various driving parameters, like Comfort or Sport, seamlessly. The driver creates the drive they want.

Off-Road Engineering Package

When you aren’t driving the kids to soccer practice, it’s time to have some fun off-road. The Off-Road Engineering Package is available on GLB 250 4MATIC® (not the GLB 250) and is turned on via the DYNAMIC SELECT® mentioned above. From there, you experience a more comfortable and safe off-road driving experience. In difficult situations, the 4MATIC® with a torque split of 50:50 provides excellent traction. There is the Downhill Speed Regulation where the GLB maintains a pre-determined speed on easy off-road terrain and going downhill. With all these corners and bumps, your 2020 GLB keeps you updated with a display of the information on the instrument cluster.
