On Friday, April 15th, Direct Relief International in collaberation with Sunda New Asian, The Filipino American Network, Japanese American Citizens Leauge, and Japanese American Service Committee will host a "Co-Alliance to Help Japan" fundrasing dinner and silent auction to benefit those who were affected by the earthquakes and tsunami in Japan. 100% of all funds raised will be given directly to those in need. Mercedes-Benz of Chicago was a sponsor of the 2011 Immaculate Conception School's Annual Fundraising Gala. The event was held at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago, where guests arrived at a cocktail reception followed by dinner and dancing.  The Gala featured a silent auction that included a prize to the Four Seasons for a spring break vacation.
