Sneak Peak at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show

When the world saw the first SL-Class in 1954, its lightweight, aerodynamic body did
more than set a new standard. It served proof that icons are born from lasting brilliance. Today, the advanced engineering and timeless proportions of the SL-Class convey the thrill of acceleration, the acceleration of progress, and the enduring soul of a sports car.

The New 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show and
has now made its way to the Chicago Auto Show. So what's the hype all about? Well, the all-new 6th generation SL-Class is equipped with more than meets the eye.

This all new SL-Class isn't just quicker, stronger and lighter, it's also smarter! Featuring a lightweight, sleek all-aluminum body, a powerful and fuel-efficient twin-turbocharged V8 engine, and cutting-edge safety systems that only Mercedes-Benz can deliver, the new SL-Class is the newest interpretation of the roadster legend.

The 2012  SLS Roadster is also featured at the Chicago Auto show this year. Joining the  SLS AMG Coupe with gullwing doors, is the all-new open-top 2012 SLS AMG Roadster.

Lthe Roadster is powered by a front/mid 6.2-liter V8 that
generates an amazing 563 horsepower and 479 lb. ft. of torque to the rear wheels. When revved, the distinctive AMG eight-cylinder sound brings a smile even to hardened auto enthusiasts. Reports claim that the SLS AMG bursts from zero-to-sixty mph in 3.6 seconds. Prominent features of the two-seat, aviation-inspired cockpit include the wing-shape dashboard, finest leather, matte-finished solid metal or optional, genuine carbon-fiber trim and E-Select lever in the shape of an
aircraft's thrust control. Three soft top colors - black, red and beige - are available to suit the nine exterior and eight interior colors. The compact fabric soft top of the Roadster opens and closes in just eleven seconds, and can be operated on the move at speeds up to 31 mph.

The SLS AMG Roadster is rare and hard to come across. Mercedes-Benz of Chicago currently has one for sale that surely won't be around for long!
