Recently, Mercedes-Benz celebrated the 125th anniversary of the modern car's invention.

According to an expert, the appeal of the Mercedes-Benz brand's cars reflects the desire to be innovative while retaining a strong sense of tradition.

Lizzie Pope, editor of Mercedes Enthusiast, described the German automaker as the world's leading automobile brand - "and shows no signs of slowing down".

Mercedes-Benz of Chicago sponsored a South Side of Chicago basketball tournament

  

Last weekend Mercedes-Benz of Chicago sponsored a basketball tournament for underprivileged kids. The players were from various high schools all over the South Side of Chicago. The kids, Chicago Police Officers and former Pro-Athletes came together at the Rainbow Beach Chicago Park District to play a round robin basketball tournament. Each team was named after a different Mercedes-Benz vehicle and they wore jersey's that featured Mercedes-Benz Star.

New Mercedes-Benz Models Featured in Superbowl Advertising

Mercedes-Benz revealed (partially) two eagerly anticipated models in an advertisement sure the Superbowl last weekend.

The "Welcome" advertisement introduced four new Mercedes-Benz models: the SLK and CLS63 AMG models along with the new SLS cabrio and C-Class coupe.
